Montgomery recorded four birdies including two-in-a-row on Nos. 17-18, and eagled the par-5 3rd hole brining his round total to 3-under-par. DeNike registered three birdies on the front nine before carding a bogey-free back nine, and one birdie to tie Bousman and Montgomery at 3-under-par.

John Bermel, Smool and Gibb all finished T4 in the Open Division. The three Iowa PGA Professionals finished at 2-under-par 69, falling just one stroke shy of the three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard.
