Shawver and Hart Win Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility

Riverside, IA – John Shawver and Shane Hart of Grinnell College Golf Course won the Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility Monday, August 24, 2020 at Blue Top Ridge. Shawver and Hart turned in a team total of +17 quota points to capture the win.

Teams for Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility were comprised of one PGA Professional and one Amateur competing in an 18-Hole individual Low Pro and Team Event Quota System.

Greg Dingel and Chad Kimmelshue of Veenker Memorial Golf Course carded a team total of +16 quota points to finish in second place.

In addition to the team event, the Iowa PGA Harris Golf Cars Pro-Facility featured individual competitions for the Open, Senior and Super Senior Divisions.

Judd Gibb of Lakeside Municipal Golf Course and Sean McCarty of Brown Deer Golf Club tied for first place in the Open Division with a 4-under-par 68. Gibb carded a bogey on hole 15 with birdies on holes 4, 6, 7, 17 and 18. McCarty carded birdies on holes 3, 4, 7, 8, 15 and 17 with bogeys on holes 11 and 18.

John Dinnebier of Briarwood Golf Club and Gibb tied for first place in the Senior Division with a 4-under-par 68. Dinnebier a double bogey on hole 4 with birdies on holes 6, 7, 8, 13, 16 and 18.

Jim Henry of EK Golf won the Super Senior Division with a 7-over-par 79. Henry carded bogeys on holes 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 16 and 18 with a birdie on hole 14 in his win.
