McCarty Leads Iowa PGA Professional Championship-
Pleasant Valley, Iowa – Sean McCarty of Brown Deer Golf Club leads the Iowa PGA Professional Championship on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Davenport Country Club. Final round will be completed on August 17, 2021. Final round will begin at 8:00 am tomorrow with tee times off of #1 and #10, click here.
 
McCarty turned in a 36-hole total of 7-under-par with rounds of 68-67=135 to lead the Iowa PGA Professional Championship. Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course is in second place with rounds of 71-68=139 for 3-under-par.
 
Proehl sits in first place of the Senior Division with rounds of 71-68=139 to sit 3-under-par. Chris Black of Hickory Grove Golf Course sits at second place with rounds of 75-65=140, 2-under-par to sit one shot back. Black made an eagle 2 on hole #18 a 424-yard Par 4.
 
The Super Senior Division was led by Jeff Smith of Harvest Point Golf Course with rounds of 79-72=151 for a total of 9-over-par. Jim Henry of EK Golf is in second place at 14-over-par with rounds of 77-79=156.

The top 4 finishers in tomorrow’s event qualify for the 55th PGA Professional Championship, April 17-20, at OMNI Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas.
