Davenport, Iowa – Dave Edwards of Dubuque Golf and Country Club and his team, John O’Connor, Jim Giese and Doug Schmid, placed first in the Championship Flight in the 2018 NB Golf Cars / M&M Golf Cars Foundation Pro-Am at Davenport Country Club on Monday.
Championship Flight
1. 13 Points: Dave Edwards, PGA (Dubuque Golf and Country Club), O’Connor, Giese and Schmid.
2. 10 Points: Jay Horton, PGA (All Stars), McQuillen, Steffen, A. Krueger.
3. 9 Points: Darin Fisher, PGA (The Preserve on Rathbun Lake) Osby, Campbell and Bates.
4. 3 Points: Grant Feilmann, PGA (Wakonda Club), Witke, Weidmaier and Jackson.
Second Flight
1. -5 Points: Jerry Johnson, PGA (Elmwood Country Club), Schneider, Stahlin and Benz.
2. -7 Points: Matt Sherlock, PGA (Edmundson Golf Course) Pedersen, Greene and Vance.
3. -8 Points: Chris Black, PGA (Hickory Grove GC) Barry Black, Bill Black, Schreiner.
4. -8 Points: Mark Lemon, PGA (Airport National GC), McPartland, Thinnes and Hansen.
Third Flight
1. -16 Points: John Shawver, PGA (Fore Seasons Golf), Jeffery, Hart and Olsen.
2. -18 Points: Ben Montgomery, PGA (Jones Park GC) Foss, Kamoss and Kotaska.
3. -18 Points: Jared Capouch, PGA (Airport National GC), O’Donnell, Hallquist and Edl.
4. -19 Points: Mike Hall, PGA (St. Andrews GC), Ullrich, Fiala and Kimm.
In addition to the Pro-Am team event, the Foundation Pro-Am was also an individual event with Iowa PGA Professionals competing in the Open, Senior and Super Senior Divisions. Click here for full results.
Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Municipal GC claimed the Open and Senior Divisions. Proehl carded a 3-under-par 68 with six birdies. He held off Joshua Bousman of Davenport Country Club in the Open Division, prevailing by one stroke. Proehl claimed the Senior Division by two strokes defeating Bryan Luedtke of Bunker Links GC.
Lemon was the winner of the Super Senior Division. The Solon native recorded a 14-over-par 85, beating out Mike Hall by two strokes to secure the Super Senior Division.
