Dinnebier and Callan Win Pro-Select at Timberline
RIVERSIDE, Iowa –
The Iowa PGA Pro-Select event at Timberline Golf Course took place Monday afternoon in Peosta, Iowa. The event featured two Iowa PGA Section Professionals as a team and they played 27 Holes, 9 holes scramble, 9 holes best ball, and 9 holes alternate shot.
John Dinnebier and Chad Callan of Briarwood GC took the crown in the 9-hole scramble portion of the event shooting a 5-under-par 31. The tandem also won the 9-hole best ball competition defeating the field by two strokes with a 4-under-par 32. Dinnebier and Callan eventually won the event posting a 9-under-par 99 through 27 holes defeating the field by three strokes.
Judd Gibb and Chad Proehl won the 9-hole alternate shot but tied for second with John Panek and Ryan McClintock shooting 6-under-par for the day. McClintock and Panek also led the day in par-breakers with a total of 10, one eagle and nine birdies.
