At the conclusion of the yea's tournament schedule, the Iowa Section will name a Player of the Year in four distinguished divisions. Player of the Year is awarded solely on performance in tournaments designated as point events. Each division will maintain its own eligibility and guideline requirements designed by the Tournament Committee to ensure the integrity of each award. The Tournament Committee determines all point events. The 4 divisions are, PGA Player of the Year, Assistant Player of the Year, Senior Player of the Year, and Super Senior Player of the Year. There is also an Iowa PGA Professional who earns an award for Low Scoring Average .
