Cobra Puma Golf was established in June 2010 when Puma North America our parent company, purchased Cobra from Titleist in 2010 and Cobra Puma Golf was formed. The motto of the company is to “Enjoy Golf” and I think most agree that is what the game needs most. Both brands Puma and Cobra a very innovative offering new fashion and technology. We like to push the issue and as I like to say “we don’t always play in the fairway.” I think this good because it always brings new ideas and looks to the game.
Jim Hauth has been with the company since November of 2010. He has been in the golf business since 1978 starting as an Assistant Superintendent then as superintendent. I had the opportunity to help establish Kalona Golf Club as the superintendent / GM. That is where I met Gary Lockie (he and Ed Lockie designed Kalona Golf Club) and he got me involved in the operation of the clubhouse and pro shop. He eventually talked me into sales and now 30 years later I’m still selling and enjoying the golf business.
