Christians, Lawrence Set to Compete in 2020 National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship

Pt. St. Lucie, Florida – Iowa PGA Associates Tyler Christians of Wakonda Club and David Lawrence of Davenport Country Club, will compete in the 2020 National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship this weekend at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The tournament is set to tee off on Thursday, November 12 on the Wanamaker Course.

A field of 132 players will compete in the four-day, 72-hole event that concludes on Sunday, November 15. PGA Assistant Professionals and all registered associates attempted to earn berths through their local PGA Sections. The field includes all 41 Assistant PGA Professional Section champions.
 
This week’s champion, if eligible, will earn a berth in the 2021 PGA Professional Championship, which is slated for April 26-29 at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
 
The Iowa PGA’s National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Champion, Christians, will tee off at 12:06 pm (ET) on Thursday and 7:51 am (ET) on Friday. Lawrence is set to tee off at 7:42 am (ET) and 11:57 am (ET) respectively for the first two rounds. The Iowa PGA will be providing updates throughout the weekend on its social media pages.
