2022 PGA Winter Championship – Senior Stroke Play Final Round
Riverside, Iowa – Three of our Iowa PGA Professional’s Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course, Judd Gibb of Hanson’s Custom Golf and Life Member Dave Ranney are competing in the Senior Stroke Play ages 64 & Under at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Overall Group A (64 & Under) Judd Gibb is T24th place, Chad Proehl is T11th place and Dave Ranney is T45th place.
The Iowa PGA Professionals also compete within smaller age groups.
Ages 50-54 – Proehl & Gibb
Proehl’s first round he carded birdies on holes 4, 11, 13 and 18; bogeys on holes 14 and 15 including a double bogey on hole 10. Proehl’s three-day total rounds of 67-72-71=210, 4-under-par and placed 4th in the age group.
Gibb’s first round he carded birdies on holes 2 and 6 including bogeys on holes 4, 10 and 16. Gibb’s three-day total rounds of 71-72-72=215, 1-over-par and placed 14th in the age group.
Ages 55-59 – Ranney
Ranney’s final round he carded a birdie on hole 17 including bogeys on holes 1, 3, 5, 6, 10 and 16. Ranney’s three-day total rounds of 75-70-76=221, 7-over-par and placed T22nd in the age group.
