2022 PGA Winter Championship – Quarter Century
Riverside, Iowa – Three Iowa PGA Professionals Judd Gibb of Hanson’s Custom Golf, Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course and Life Member Dave Ranney all competed in the Quarter Century for ages 64 & Under on the Wanamaker Course at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida on Wednesday, January 5 and Thursday, January 6, 2022.
Overall Group A (64 & Under) Judd Gibb is T35th place, Chad Proehl is T54th place and Dave Ranney is T87th place.
The Iowa PGA Professionals also compete within smaller age groups.
Ages 50-54
Gibb’s first round he carded birdies on holes 1, 7, 13 and 16 with bogeys on holes 2, 4 and 15 including a double bogey on hole 8 for a round of 2-over-par 74. Gibb is currently sitting at T3rd place.
Proehl’s first round he carded birdies on holes 9 and 11 with bogeys on holes 5, 6 and 14 including double bogeys on holes 2 and 17 for a round of 5-over-par 77. Proehl is currently sitting at T9th place.
Ages 55-59 Dave Ranney
Ranney’s first round he carded bogeys on holes 11 and 17 including double bogeys on holes 10, 15 and 18 for a round of 10-over-par 82. Ranney is currently sitting at 29th place.
