2021 PGA Winter Championship – Senior/Junior Team Round 3
Riverside, IA – Six of our Iowa PGA Professionals are paired up as teams. Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course and Jay Giannetto of Elmwood Country Club, John Bermel of Pheasant Ridge Golf Course and Adam Luehmann of Hillcrest Country Club and Sean McCarty of Brown Deer Golf Club and Dave Ranney of Lamoni Golf and Country Club are competing in the Senior/Junior Team Championship at the PGA Golf Club in Pt. St. Lucie, Florida on January 18-21, 2021. This is a one best ball of two Team Championship.
Bermel and Luehmann carded birdies on holes 4, 6, 11 and 16 including bogeys on holes 2, 9 and 10 which placed them tied for 15th place after the third round of play. Bermel and Luehmann’s round three total 36-35=71, -1. Bermel and Luehmann’s three-day total is 65-63-71=199, -16. Their final round tee time for Thursday, January 21 on the Ryder Course at 8:40 AM.
Proehl and Giannetto carded birdies on holes 1, 4, 15 and 18; an eagle on hole 10 including bogeys on holes 7, 9 and 13 which placed them tied for 30th place after the third round of play. Proehl and Giannetto’s round three total 36-33=69, -3. Proehl and Giannetto’s three-day total is 63-71-69=203, -12. Their final round tee time for Thursday, January 21 on the Ryder Course at 9:05 AM.
Ranney and McCarty carded birdies on holes 3, 15 and 16 which placed them tied for 38th place after the third round of play. Ranney and McCarty’s round three total 35-34=69, -3. Ranney and McCarty’s three-day total is 67-68-69=204, -11. Their final round tee time for Thursday, January 21 on the Ryder Course at 9:45 AM.
