2021 PGA Winter Championship – Senior Stroke Play Final Round

Riverside, IA – The three-day Senior Stroke Play Championship wrapped up its final round on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Three of our Iowa PGA Professionals Dave Ranney of Lamoni Golf & Country Club, Chad Proehl of Sugar Creek Golf Course and Judd Gibb of Lakeside Municipal Golf Course competed in the Senior Stroke Play ages 50-59 (Proehl and Gibb also competed in Group 1 – ages 50-54 and Ranney competed in Group 2 – ages 55-59) at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Proehl’s final round he carded birdies on holes 6, 8, 9 and 13; bogeys on holes 2, 4, 7 and 15 and a double bogey on hole 17. Proehl’s final round total 36-38=74, tied 15th place in Group 1 and placed tied for 20th overall. His three-day total of playing is 70-70-74=214, -3.

Gibb’s final round he carded birdies on holes 5, 8, 15 and 16; a bogey on hole 10 and a double bogey on hole 11. Gibb’s final round total 34-37=71, 26th place in Group 1 and tied for 43rd place overall. His three-day total of playing is 77-72-71=220, +5.

Ranney’s final round he carded bogeys on holes 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, 13, 15 and 18 and a double bogey on hole 14. Ranney’s final round total 40-42=82, tied for 41st place in Group 2 and placed 88th place overall. His three-day total of playing is 80-74-82=236, +21.
