The main purpose of the Iowa PGA Golf Network is to provide member clubs with Handicap Index computation, tournament management, Internet tournament reservations, and league management services through Handicomp which is a golf computer systems information company that has been in business since 1968.

The Iowa PGA Golf Network (IPGAGN) is designed with the golfer in mind. Quite simply, the mission of the network is to marry the most effective Iowa golf service organization with the most advanced golf information and handicapping network, in a strategy to reach the greatest number of Iowa golfers with the most useful and dynamic golf information.

Unquestionably, the Iowa Section PGA brings to the table a great wealth of knowledge and experience in a most accessible way. The Section’s PGA professionals are located at golf clubs throughout the state, they meet face to face with golfers, and they work together as a group to bring constructive programs and helpful information to golfers across the state.

This new network will provide golf facilities with handicapping services, tournament management software, tee time reservations, league management systems and much more.

Tournament Management – Call For Prices

Taking care of details associated with a tournament can be tiresome and time consuming. The Iowa PGA Golf Network’s Tournament Management module will reduce the time and effort required to run a tournament. The software will take care of all the details like dotting score cards and assigning tee times. The Tournament module will interface with the Iowa PGA Golf Network Handicapping module to make your job even easier, especially when it comes to setting up pairings and flights. The module seamlessly interfaces to the golf handicapping network, and, Gaming module for Pari-mutuel’s and Calcutta’s.

What the Golf Tournaments Module can do for you:

The Golf Tournaments module allows for the easy setup and running of tournaments:
Use USGA, RCGA Trend, or, Local defined handicaps to create teams of up to six people.
Assign pairings, starting times, and starting holes automatically or manually.
Assign flights automatically using handicaps or ages.
Use Match, Stroke, or, Stroke-Best Ball Scoring.
Export tee times to the Tee Reservations module.

The Golf Tournament module provides special options:

Track and compute Big Skins, both gross and net.
Maintain a separate auxiliary golfer file for common guests.
