Play Golf Iowa was held at Longview Golf Centre in Grimes on May 3rd. The highlight of the day was a one hour performance by nationally known golf trick shot artist, Dennis Walters. The Dennis Walters Golf Show is a one hour combination of golf mastery and human inspiration. It is great golf, great fun, and a great message. Dennis Walters was injured in an accident thirty-four years ago and the injury left him paralyzed from the waist down. Dennis’ one-hour trick shot performance at Play Golf Iowa provided attendees with laughs, surprises and inspiration.
During the day, Iowa Section PGA Professionals provided attendees with free golf lessons. Other activities included a long drive contest, miniature golf tournament, and instructional seminars. Special thanks to the staff at Longview Golf Centre for hosting this event.
