Iowa PGA Pro Select Results - May 12th, 2008

The 2008 Iowa Section PGA Pro Select was held at Hunters Ridge Golf Course in Marion, Iowa on May 12th.  This 27-hole event consisted of the following formats; 9-hole scramble, 9-hole best ball, and 9-hole alternate shot.  Fourteen two-person teams competed in this event which was sponsored by Harris Golf Cars.  Special thanks to Scott Harris and Steve Haldeman of Harris Golf Cars for their support of this event.  Also, thanks to Mark Davis and his staff at Hunters Ridge Golf Course for sponsoring the tournament.  Brian Wernimont (Elks Country Club) and Terry Anderson (Saddleback Ridge GC) tied for first place with Mark Lemon (Airport National Golf Complex) and Matt Erger (Airport National Golf Complex) by shooting a tournament total 102, six under par.
