The 2012 Iowa Junior Tour sponsored by The Principal Charity Classic will now consist of 4 event categories: Ace, Eagle, Birdie and Par Events. There will be over 65 total events available for juniors who reside or who are vacationing in the state of Iowa and within the Iowa PGA Section boundaries (includes part of western Illinois). There will be 9 Ace events and 5-7 Eagle events which will be administered by the Iowa PGA Staff. Any junior who is 21 and younger is eligible (those who are 18-21, please click on Collegiate Tour (coming soon).
You must be a member to view the entire 2012 Junior Tour Schedule, however you may view the Ace, Eagle and Birdie schedule by visiting the Junior Tour Schedule Page. Juniors must be a member of the 2012 Iowa Junior Tour, Collegiate Tour or Pee Wee Tour to participate in Ace, Eagle or any other events administered by the Iowa PGA Staff.
Membership is $45 for the Iowa Junior Tour and includes:
- Access to Junior Tour Online Handbook which includes information and registration for all tournaments. Interactive BlueGolf tournament software system is used which has advanced features such as shot tracking, personal profile, Facebook integration and more!
- Junior Tour Hat
- USGA Rules of Golf Book
- Subscription to Iowa Golf Magazine
- Ability to earn points for Player of the Year Division Awards: Boys 11 & under, 12-13, 14-15, 16-18 and Girls 13 & under, 14-15, 16-18
- Exclusive opportunity to compete in 9 Ace events, all Eagle events and any other events administered by the Iowa PGA Staff.
