The 2008 Iowa Boys Junior Amateur Championship was held at Rice Lake Golf & Country Club in Lake Mills, IA on August 6, 2008. This Major Point Event on the Iowa PGA Junior Tour was rescheduled from the original date of June 10-11, 2008. The 11 & Under division was won by Noah Ellwood of Ankeny, IA with a 9 hole score of 42. The 12-13 division was captured by Broc Everett of West Des Moines, IA with a 18 hole score of 78. The 14-15 division crowned Ryan Gutz of Storm Lake, IA it’s champion with a 36 hole score of 152. Finally, the 16-17 division was won with a 36 hole score of 141 by Michael Slavin of Johnston, IA. Congratulations to all who participated in this event.
