The 34th PGA Junior Iowa Championship was held Tuesday, June 30 and Wednesday, July 1 at Blue Top Ridge at Riverside with 106 competitors. Over 250 juniors competed in 7 local qualifiers for a spot in this great Major Event. The low boy and low girl in the 16-18 division will join approximately 150 of the nation’s top junior golfers in The PGA of America’s flagship junior event, the Junior PGA Championship, July 28-31, 2009, at TPC River’s Bend in Cincinnati, Ohio.
