The 32nd Annual Iowa PGA Junior Golf Academy will be held Sunday, June 10 through Thursday, June 14 at Pheasant Ridge GC and the University of Northern Iowa. The Academy is open to boys and girls 17 & under with a maximum capacity of 50 total students. John Bermel, head PGA Professional at Pheasant Ridge GC and also the head coach for the men and women’s golf team at UNI has been the lead instructor for the academy for over the last 10 years. He and his staff do an excellent job hosting this program. The Iowa PGA Junior Golf Academy also utilizes the men and women PGA Professionals of the Iowa Section as instructors for the students.

Tuition is refundable if applicant cancels less $25 for administration fees prior to June 1, 2012.
No refunds will be given after June 1, 2012.
Participants in the Junior Golf Academy receive:
- Four days intensive instruction from Iowa Section PGA professionals

John Bermel is the Head PGA Professional at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course and is the Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach at the University of Northern Iowa. He has been a PGA Professional for 22 years and was Iowa PGA Section Champion in 1993, 2000, 2004 and 2006! He has also received numerous other awards and played in prestigious Section and National PGA tournaments. He has had 12 career hole-in-ones! John is a knowledgeable and dynamic teach that ensures Academy will learn a lot and have a great time during their stay at Pheasant Ridge and the University of Northern Iowa.
