The 2011 PGA Professional National Championship is currently being held at Hershey Country Club in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Darin Fisher (The Preserve on Lake Rathbun), Chad Proehl (Sugar Creek Golf Course), Sean McCarty (Brown Deere Golf Club), John Dinnebier (Lake Panorama National Golf Course), and Tracy Vest (Des Moines Golf & Country Club) are representing the Iowa PGA Section in this national annual championship.
Each of these gentlemen qualified for this event by playing well in the 2010 Iowa PGA Section Championship which was held at Crow Valley Golf Club last July.
The field will be cut in-half following thirty-six holes and currently, Darin Fisher, Chad Proehl, and Sean McCarty are in position to make the cut.
The Iowa PGA would like to congratulate all five of these gentlemen on their outstanding performance!
