The 2008 Ottumwa Amateur was held at Ottumwa Country Club in Ottumwa, IA on May 31st and June 1st, 2008. The top 25 placed golfers played 54 holes over two days and all other golfers played 36 holes in a perfect summer-like weekend. The Iowa Section PGA would like to congratulate Steve Wetrich of Ottumwa, IA for capturing his 5th Ottumwa Amateur title (2008, 2005, 1994, 1991, 1989) with a score of six under par, 210.
