Iowa PGA Professionals on the PGA Tour
- Sean McCarty and Chad Proehl are both competing in the John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run this weekend. Click here view round 1 results.

This Week for the Iowa PGA
- The Pro-Junior will be held on Monday, July 16 at the Brown Deer Golf Club. Teams will be comprised of one Iowa PGA Professional and three junior amateurs competing in a team two best balls of four gross format. Click here for more information.
This Week on the Iowa PGA Junior Tour
- Boys and girls Junior Tour age divisions 13 & Under will be participating in the Pro-Junior event at Brown Deer on Monday.
- The Junior Tour Mid-Summer Classic (18-hole divisions) takes place July 16-17. The first round will take place at Briarwood Golf Club with tee times starting 8 a.m. The second round will be played at Otter Creek, starting at 7:30 a.m. Click here for more information.
- The Eastern Iowa Junior and Pee Wee event is also being held on July 16-17. The junior event will be played at Muscatine Municipal Golf Course for the first round. Coming up for The Iowa PGA
- The Iowa PGA Professional Championship presented by Club Car and Omega is coming up on July 23-24 at the Glen Oaks Country Club. Registration for this event has closed. Click here for more information.
- The 85th Iowa Open will be held at Blue Top Ridge in Riverside, IA on August 1-3. There is still time to register for this event. Registration closes Tuesday, July 24. Click here to register.
- We are looking for volunteer spotters for the Iowa Open at Blue Top Ridge on August 1, & 2 Times are 8 AM – 1 PM or 1 PM – 6 PM Aug 3 8-2 (lunch is included). Sign up for a five-hour shift on any or all days by messaging Ricky N Joyce Davis at iowa2oc@yahoo.com.
- August 13-14 is the Iowa Senior PGA Professional Championship at the Cedar Rapids Country Club. Please visit www.pgatournaments.com or call 1-800-474-2776 to register for this event.
Upcoming on the Junior Tour
- The next two Drive, Chip and Putt local qualifiers take place on July 18 and July 21. The event on July 18 is at Pleasant Valley Golf Course and the July 21 event will be at Sugar Creek Golf Course. Registration for these events close five days prior to the date the event takes place.
- The Iowa PGA Junior Championship is coming up on July 26 at the A.H. Blank Golf Course in Des Moines. Registration for this event closes Sunday, July 22. Click here for more information.
