Chad Proehl and JC Anderson tied for 69th in Four-Ball Stableford Team Championship

Port St. Lucie, Florida – Iowa PGA Member Chad Proehl has teamed up with South Florida member JC Anderson for the Four-Ball Stableford Team Championship at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Proehl and Anderson started the first round with five straight pars before carding their first birdie on the par-3 sixth hole. The duo added two more pars and birded the par-4 ninth hole to finish the front nine at 2-under-par 34 (4 points).

Proehl and Anderson added their third birdie of the round on the par-5 13th hole, but gave back a stroke on the par-3 17th hole to finish the round. The duo combined for a 2-under-par 70 for five points in the first round and sit in a tie for 69th. They begin their second round at 8:20 a.m. on the Dye Course on Monday.

The Four-Ball Stableford Team Championship is a 54-hole event played on both the Wanamaker and Dye Courses at PGA Golf Club. Following Monday's second round, the field will be cut to the Low 40 teams and ties. The Championship is scheduled to conclude Tuesday.
