2010 Iowa PGA Pro Senior Championship

Champions

The 2010 Iowa PGA Pro Senior Championship was held on Monday, May 10th at Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City, Iowa.  This event was originally scheduled as a double shotgun event but was shortened to a single morning shotgun because of inclement weather.  Thirteen teams consisting of one Iowa PGA Professional and three senior amateurs (50 years of age and older) competed in this tournament.  The golfers fought through strong winds and heavy rain during the morning shotgun which forced an afternoon cancellation.

Since a full field was not possible because of the shortened tournament, this event will not count as an Iowa PGA Player of the Year point event.

The Iowa PGA would like to thank Clark Smith, Head PGA Professional, Pat Franklin, General Manager, and the entire staff at Tournament Club of Iowa for hosting this event.
