The final Iowa PGA junior tournament for 2009 was held on Wednesday, August 12 at Brown Deer GC in Coralville.  The Pee Wee Tour Championship had 25 competitors in 4 divisions; Boys 10-11, Boys 7-9, Girls 7-9 and Girls 10-11.  The Pee Wee Tour is designed as an introduction to tournament action, players are allowed to have a caddie who will carry their clubs, help them score and give them advice on what they should do next.  Pee Wee Tour members are also encouraged to play in any Junior Tour events that fit in their schedule.  The Pee Wee Tour is a great experience for the younger golf and a good way to get them ready for the “big leagues”.  The Iowa PGA would like to thank Sean McCarty and Brown Deer GC for their support in hosting this event.
