Eric Mueller of Srixon Sponsors 36 Hole Classic & Partner’s Club

Longtime Iowa Section PGA friend, Eric Mueller of Srixon, will sponsor the 36 Hole Classic and Partner’s Club in 2008. The Iowa Section PGA would like to thank Eric and Srixon for their continued support of the Iowa Section PGA.

The 36 Hole Classic will be held at Oakwood Country Club and Pinnacle Country Club on Monday, May 19th. In addition to a normal sponsorship contribution for the event, Eric is also placing a $2,000 bonus pool in the event for Srixon customers who place a ball order with him in the amount of $500 or more prior to the date of the event. If you would like to be eligible for this bonus pool, be sure to contact Eric Mueller at 515-491-4173 ASAP.

Eric Mueller and Srixon is also providing a sleeve of golf balls to all Iowa PGA Partner’s Club members in 2008. The Iowa PGA Partner’s Club is a new program offered by the Iowa Section PGA which will grow the game of golf and enhance the image of the Iowa Section PGA.

Iowa PGA TaylorMade-adidas Las Vegas Pro-Am Results - March 3-5, 2008

The 7th Annual Iowa PGA TaylorMade-adidas Las Vegas Pro-Am was held March 3-5 in Las Vegas, Nevada. A total of 20 five-person teams competed in this quota point format. Teams were comprised of one professional and four amateurs.

The Iowa Section PGA would like to thank Mike Long and Tod Puetz of TaylorMade-adidas for their title sponsorship of this event. Each participant was treated to a nice gift from TaylorMade-adidas for their support of this annual event. As a special surprise Mike and Tod also arranged for a short speech on Monday following golf from renowned golf instructor, Jim Flick.

The golfers competed at Paiute Golf Club (Wolf Course), Dragon Ridge Country Club, and Tuscany Golf Club. The 2008 champions came from Crow Valley Golf Club (see picture) by scoring an amazing 36 points for the overall event.
